Wow! Have you seen all the "green" going on at the Apple Blossom campus, lately? The garden is coming together nicely. Teams of 4th graders and 5th graders and some parents have been helping with the lunch-waste composting and recycling. We have been composting at big events, such as the Pasta Feed, and will do so again at the Halloween Carnival. And, we were recently accepted into a pilot program whereby Sonoma Compost picks up the food waste that is unacceptable for our worm bins and processes it into compost at their facility.
