PTA / SCHOOL BOARD MEETING / K OPEN HOUSE
Welcome back from the winter holidays!
PTA will meet at Apple Blossom on Thursday, Feb. 11th at 7pm. We are accepting nominations for board members for the 2010-2011 school year. Needed: President, membership committee, blogger, historian, and many other positions!
Also, please note that the date for the next School Board meeting has been changed. The Newsette has the incorrect date. The new date is Wed, Feb. 24th at 4:30pm at Apple Blossom. Come out and get involved!
Time to register for Kindergarten!!! Please come to the Open House on Feb 27th.

PTA Meeting at Apple Blossom
The PTA will meet at Apple Blossom tonight, Thursday, November 12th at 7pm. Come and make your voice heard! We'd love to get ideas and feedback about PTA events.

PTA Reflections Program
Help your child explore their artistic side by approaching the theme "Beauty is..." in one of six categories: Dance / Film / Literature / Music / Photography / Visual Arts.
These is a free program. Children compete by grade level: K - 2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12.
Entry forms and rules for each category are available in the Twin Hills District office and the Twin Hills Charter Middle School office.
Entries due by December 1, 2009. No late entries will be accepted.

Holiday Fundraisers
The Halloween Carnival is a big fundraiser for our school, but other things are happening, too. First, we have a Sally Foster Gift Wrap sale at Apple Blossom. Sally Foster is more than gift wrap -- they sell chocolates and gourmet gifts -- and up to 50% of the proceeds go to the school! Hurry, fundraiser ends October 30th.
Next, there's a Foundation Christmas Tree Sale. Trees will be pre-sold until October 23 and can be picked up either Dec. 2 or Dec. 9 at the Victorian Christmas Tree Ranch.

Halloween Carnival, October 24th
The 52nd Apple Blossom Halloween Carnival is almost here!
*VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT!!! ***
Set-up, Cake Walk, Haunted House, food booths, clean-up.
*DONATIONS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT!!! ***
Take n' bake cheese pizzas from Costco
Books (Kindergarten to adult)
Prizes and glow sticks Halloween decorations
Mini pumpkins, pumpkins and gourds Craft items
Cakes for the Cake Walk Bagged candy
Wax-free paper bowls, cups, and Chinet dinner plates
Napkins, plastic spoons, forks, knives
Hansen's or natural soda Wax paper and paper towels
